Webinar available to address kidney-after-thoracic safety net, combined kidney-thoracic allocation

The OPTN ad hoc Multi-Organ Transplantation Committee sponsored a webinar on July 20, 2023, to help transplant program staff prepare for pending implementation of simultaneous heart-kidney and lung-kidney transplantation, and to review “safety net” allocation for kidney-after-heart and kidney-after-lung transplants, which is now in effect.
