Background

In November 2013, the OPTN/UNOS Board of Directors approved policy to substantially revise the kidney allocation system. The goals of the new system are to enhance the long-term benefit of kidney transplantation, make better use of available kidneys, and increase transplant opportunities for hard-to-match candidates. This webinar will provide basic information to prepare transplant professionals for implementation of the new policy requirements.
