OPTN electronic data dashboard provides insights on trends in integration between members’ computer systems and the OPTN computer system
Published on: Wednesday, August 30, 2023
The Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) has released a new public-facing dashboard that will provide high-level information regarding trends in integration between OPTN member organizations’ computer systems and the OPTN computer system. Metrics include how often key transplant data is submitted to the OPTN system electronically versus entered manually.
Electronic data submission methods aid members by enabling more efficient and accurate data entry to support transplant allocation and reporting processes.
What key metrics can I see?
Rates of electronic data submission for:
- Transplant candidate record updates
- Deceased donor record updates
- Reporting forms for donors and candidates for research purposes
Where can I find this dashboard?
A link to the dashboard has been placed in the “Data & calculators” menu tab, under “Dashboards & metrics.” Select “OPTN electronic data submission” to see the dashboard.
The dashboard will be updated monthly by the OPTN. Visitors to the page can send feedback on the dashboard and suggest future improvements to DataProducts@unos.org.
