Monkeypox educational document available for transplant candidates

The OPTN ad hoc Disease Transmission Advisory Committee (DTAC) has developed an educational resource for transplant candidates regarding monkeypox. The document describes risks, treatment and prevention measures to minimize the risk of infection.

The DTAC has also created additional resources for organ donation and transplant clinicians regarding monkeyox, including a summary of evidence and information relating to donor screening and transplantation.
