Kidney paired donation pilot program town hall

Published on: Friday, August 29, 2014

Access a recording of an August 21 town hall session on the OPTN/UNOS kidney paired donation pilot program (KPDPP). The town hall is a follow-up to recent educational opportunities, and should help prepare KPDPP participants for upcoming policy changes. The session includes questions and answers with a panel of subject matter experts.

The program's vision is that every kidney transplant candidate with an incompatible but willing and approved living donor receives a living donor kidney transplant. Its mission is to develop a successful KPD program with universal access to all OPTN members that prioritizes the medical and psychosocial safety of living donors and candidates.
