Feedback sought on OPTN strategic plan

The OPTN/UNOS Executive Committee welcomed input from OPTN members and the public regarding a draft of an updated OPTN strategic plan. The plan, finalized by the OPTN/UNOS Board of Directors, serves as a roadmap to help prioritize the OPTN’s work through 2018.

The draft does not vastly revise the broad goals contained in the previous plan developed in 2012. It does, however, clarify, update and reformat several goals. It also addresses more specifically how OPTN resources may be allocated to achieve the goals.
