Board election to be held electronically

For the first time, OPTN/UNOS member voting representatives will be able to cast ballots electronically for election of OPTN/UNOS Board officers and directors whose terms begin in July 2015.

UNOS will utilize a secure, third-party web application to allow voting representatives to view the Board ballot and register their votes online. This will provide added convenience for representatives to cast their vote and allow more efficient tabulation of election results.

UNOS will contact voting representatives by e-mail with a link to the ballot and supporting information about the nominees. The voting application will open the week of February 2 and will close the week of March 2.

Election results will be announced soon after the completion of voting.
