Bylaws
The OPTN bylaws address the governance structure and roles of the OPTN. Note: prior to December 2, 2024, material that relates to OPTN management and membership was included within the OPTN Bylaws. This content is now addressed on the OPTN Management and Membership Policies page.
Also as of July 24, 2024, the Independent Network for Equitable and Safe Transplants (INVEST) was established to serve as the OPTN Board of Directors through a designation agreement issued by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). References in the OPTN Bylaws to INVEST are in the context of that relationship.
