Ad Hoc International Relations Committee

The Ad Hoc International Relations Committee (AHIRC) reviews emerging issues and pertinent topics related to non-U.S. citizen/non-U.S. resident patients that enter the United States for transplant and U.S. candidates who seek transplants in other countries. The Committee considers the medical, scientific, and ethical aspects of transplanting non-U.S. citizens/non-U.S. residents. The Committee considers the broad implications of such issues and may review specific individual issues or situations.
