LAS Calculator
This calculator uses the same formula as the UNetSM computer system. UNetSM is the computer system used by the transplant center to calculate lung allocation scores for patients in need of a lung transplant.

This calculator produces a score based on the data entered below. If you do not have a certain variable, you may leave the field blank. Be advised that a policy default value may be used to calculate the score for an incomplete field.

To learn more about how lung allocation scores are determined, refer to the documentation listed under the "Questions?" sections, displayed on the right. If you are a transplant candidate, and have questions regarding the score generated by this calculator, please contact your transplant coordinator.

Attention: The lung allocation score may change on a daily basis due to age. The actual lung allocation score provided to a candidate is calculated by UNetSM based solely on the data that is entered by the transplant center. The score produced by the LAS Calculator on this website is for your informational use only.
