The OPTN just completed a major initiative to rewrite the OPTN policies in plain language and to organize them logically.

The public comment period for OPTN policies closed August 31, 2012. Thank you to those who submitted feedback. The OPTN/UNOS Board of Directors will consider the rewritten policies at an upcoming meeting.

One major organizational change: all policy sections will be contained in one document with a table of contents and index for easy navigation to individual sections, and a crosswalk section to explain the changes. Read about more features and benefits.

The table below allows you to link to the current policy that most closely corresponds to the proposed policy.
