OPTN/UNOS Kidney Allocation Review Public Forum Scheduled

Registration information is available for the February 8, 2007 OPTN/UNOS Public Forum on Revision of Kidney Allocation Policy.

What:  OPTN/UNOS Public Forum on Revision of Kidney Allocation Policy

When:  February 8, 2007; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (CST)

Who should attend/listen:  Candidates for kidney transplantation, kidney transplant recipients, patients with end stage renal disease, living kidney donors, donor family members, transplant professionals and donation professionals

Why:  Public input is vital to the success of the kidney allocation review process being conducted by the OPTN/UNOS Kidney Transplantation Committee. This is an opportunity to learn about the process the committee has undertaken so far and to provide feedback.

The committee is planning to hold another forum after a new kidney allocation policy proposal has been drafted. After a new kidney allocation policy proposal has been drafted, it will go out for public comment. Sign up to receive public comment notifications.
