The OPTN/UNOS Board of Directors passed three Living Kidney Donor Policies in November that change existing informed consent requirements; the psychosocial and medical evaluation processes; and follow-up requirements.

A webcast on January 15 will explain and discuss the new program requirements, to educate healthcare professionals and potential living donors about the changes.
