July 2, 2012 - A new Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) proposal for the policy plain language rewrite is now being offered for public comment. This proposal was developed by select OPTN members, advisors and UNOS staff.

We request your input on this proposal by August 31, 2012. View the OPTN policy plain language rewrite proposal now.

When the public comment period ends, UNOS will compile the feedback and make additional changes, in consultation with appropriate committees and staff. Revised and reformatted documents will then be presented to the OPTN Board of Directors for final approval.
