Mark S. Orloff, M.D., is director of the solid organ transplant division at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, N.Y.
Dr. Orloff is a member of the OPTN/ UNOS membership and professional standards committee and its performance analysis and improvement subcommittee. He also has served on the ad hoc communications committee and as an alternate representative on the review board (liver) for his region.
He is medical director of the Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network and a member of the board of directors for the New York Center for Liver Transplantation, also serving on its clinical policy committee. He is co-founder of blifeny.org, a donation advocacy organization.
He earned his medical degree from the University of California-Los Angeles.
