Marlon F. Levy, M.D., FACS, is surgical director of transplantation at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dr. Levy is a member of the OPTN/ UNOS board of directors and the membership and professional standards committee as well as its bylaws rewrite project  workgroup and performance analysis and improvement subcommittee. He has chaired the operations and safety committee and served as a member of the OPO, pancreas transplantation, and liver and intestinal organ transplantation committees and the kidney paired donation program workgroup. He also has served numerous terms on the review board (liver) for his region.

He has been on the American Society of Transplant Surgeons bylaws, xenotransplant and cell transplant committees.  He also has served on its practice guidelines committee on DCD (donation after cardiac  death)  and as its government and scientific  liaison.

He is a past president of the Texas Transplantation Society. He also served on the medical advisory board of the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations and on the executive committee of End-Stage Renal Disease Network 14. He was a gubernatorial appointee to a Texas task force on organ allocation and distribution.

He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
