Lori E. Brigham, B.S., M.B.A., is president/CEO of Washington Regional Transplant Community in Annandale, Va.

She is chair of the OPTN/UNOS OPO committee and has served on both its performance metrics workgroup and its DSA productivity task force. She has recently served as a member of the vessel policy workgroup and the patient information sharing task force. She has been a member of the policy oversight committee.

Brigham is president of the Organ Donation and Transplant Alliance and treasurer of Donate Life Maryland. She also is the recipient of the District of Columbia Hospital Association Haynes Rice Award, which recognizes a health-care leader for services to improve the health status of the community.

She earned a master of business administration degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., and a bachelor's degree in medical technology from the University of Vermont in Burlington.
